Can i recieve more than $1 million through paypal?

    Let's say somebody/international business partner going to transfer me some big amount of money can we use paypal?

    Theoretically yes, but you can bet on Paypal and/or your bank calling to verify the reasons on why such huge transfers.

    Why? If someone is going to transfer that large of an amount of money you could it many easier ways and ones that offer you more protection and that do not subject you to PayPal's unique set of rules and regulations.

    Bank wire/transfer would be the most common way funds of that type are transferred from one party to another.

    But in bank case there is less risk (you can say no risk) involve in compare to paypal (limitations problem).

    and you can bet Paypal would surely place a long term hold on that million dollars...
    They are not going to risk million dollars unless they know 100% the transfer will be safe...
    otherwise, they may end up being liable for the million dollars, so expect a hold...

    Try contacting Paypal support before the transfer just to be safe - you do not want your account to be limited.

    As i know bank from different country have different limitation, 1million transfer to bank can be frozen, the bank will call the money receiver to declare if the money is from oversea to ensure the money is legal.
