    No. Google pays by cheque. If you havent got a bank account where will you deposit your cheque?

    I dont think payee name can be changed for an account.

    If you already have an account, you CANNOT CHANGE the payee name.

    Why not get yourself a bank account?

    Get yourself a bank account. There can be problems if you use someone else's name in your account.

    In some banks you can sell your cheque, I don't know in India though.
    I do that and don't have to wait until money goes into the account. Xchange rates are also very good. Fee is $5.00.

    You'll have to ask around. Many people need $$$

    Some banks will cash the check for you as long as the last name match. I do this all the time by ATM and it works.

    Actually you can change your payee name with the help from G.

    Last time I had to change my payee name to fit with what it appears on my bank account. Cos when registered I used a short name (Dave = David).

    They asked me what is the page impression of a certain day, CTR of that day ... and some more security questions ... and they changed for me.

    But if you would like to work with G, it is strongly advised that you need a bank account mate!
