im working on my FAQ page and wanted too explain that the web site is free because it is ad supported (not that iv earned any money or supported anything with the ads yet)$49.73 $50.27 to go just started!
    How should i do this!
this is what i wanted to say
This site is ad supported and earns revenue every time you visited a sponsored/affiliated link! etc etc
would this violate google adsense tos?
    any recommendations??
    Thanks

I'm afraid you could put it in your site.

    From the rules:

I realise that's slightly different but I think your suggestion is dangerous.

1: Google would see this as asking visitors to click the ads. (not allowed)

2: If it worked, you could generate multiple clicks from the same person. (risking a ban)

I just feel that not comfortable about it and have a feeling that it's against the TOS.
You could place something like "Sponsors"

I would leave it at: "This site is ad supported"

If you place adsense, i think its against their TOS, because your words attract visitors to click on ads,
Use two words they provide, "Sponsored Links" or "Advertisements"

Yes this will only be on the FAQ page not as a label or near any ad!

I think it would be a TOS violation.

However, why not ask Google directly? They're the final word on such matters and their response is worth a lot more than any response you get here.

If G responds that it's OK, then you have an email as evidence that you were given the green light if you run into problems later.

Correct because some ads are CPM and don't earn you when your visitor visits it.
