Seems its fine to do so.

May not place misleading labels above Google ad units - for instance, ads may be labeled "Sponsored Links" but not "Favorite Sites"

I'd think that's OK, I like 'related links'.

It is in line to do so. One thing you have to note when placing ads on a PHPLD template is to enclose your ad code inside {literal}{/literal}.

So, it will be like this: {literal}put your Adsense code here{/literal}.

Adsense on directory should be fine. But the revenues from adsense on directories are nearly insignificant.

As long as you are not violating Google Adsense guidelines, it does not matter. I have gone through your URL. I feel that it's fine.

It seems OK to do it but in reality, as already stated, what's the point?

    Just don't do anything misleading.

The best place to put the Google Ads is inbetween the content you are targetting.

For example if you are making a website about "How to choose the best life insurance policy", you would want to put the ads close to any time you specificially mention "life insurance".

There are tags you can add to your page to mark out the content you are targetting and avoid Google indexing any of your page navigation or any ancilliary content that might appear on pages throughout your site.

Also make your ads blend in with your site by creating custom colour schemes that exactly match your website design.

This makes the experience more useful for your visitors and you earn more money. ;-)

yes u can but this act may affect your business, bec those people who want to submit links in directory didnt like google ads on it. and u might miss your customers. So be careful in making such decision.
