Can I Put AdSense Ads On Frame & iFrame In My Website ?

I came to know from a DP member that this can not be done & is against AdSense TOS.

He/ She said that ONLY IF AdSense ads are put in a frame that will be against TOS.

So I need to put some text/ links in the frame together with the AdSense. Would it be then in accordance with AdSense TOS ?

How many words either text or link should I add in the frame to put 1/ 2 AdSense ad units in one frame ?

    Thanks in advance.

if you put AdSense ads in a frame they will not be targetted if you don't add text to that frame

G allows iFrames and frames too I think

What do you mean ? Adding ONLY ONLY AdSense ads in frames and iFrames are against TOS ? If yes, can I put some text/ link in the frame or iFrame, does it become in accordance with AdSense TOS ?

Whats the difference with Frame & iFrame ?

These guys don't know what there talking about. You are NOT allowed to put adsense in any type of frame, I have e-mailed adsense about this before.

And what is it with people asking people from here about "Is ________ allowed?"

Ask the REAL experts, the people at adsense.

A frame is just like an iframe, dont worry.

What people are saying is this:
You CAN put adsense adverts in an iframe BUT they may not show accurate ads.

AdSense in frames and iFrames is allowed
the thing is that you will not get related ads in frames if there is no text in it

"Inline frame is just one "box" and you can place it anywhere on your site.
Frames are a bunch of 'boxes' put together to make one site with many pages."

It's kind of pointless though because like pixads said, the ads will not be targeted to your page content.

It could easily be looked on as keyword hiding as well if you are putting keywords in the iframe for expensive links.

I wouldn't suggest it. I doubt they would be ok with it.

iFrames were not allowed some time a go but a few months back they allowed them

A frame just loads another html page so why not?

    **********
    Frames

Web pages can be built with frames such that there are multiple sections of independent HTML code. The AdSense ad code should be placed within the frame containing the content you wish to target with the ads.

    From https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=10035
    ************
The AdSense ad code was placed within an IFRAME.
Our targeting technology is not optimized to serve ads within a separate IFRAME. If you placed the AdSense code in a separate IFRAME, your site may display less targeted ads or public service ads. For better results, please implement our ad code directly into the source of your web page. Once you make these changes, relevant ads may not appear immediately. Until we are able to re-crawl your site, which may take up to 48 hours or more, your page may continue to display untargeted or public service ads.
    *************

I do not see anything saying NO here
