I know, you would say duplicate content and bla bla bla, but actually having a few copies of one article in different directories won't hurt.

I am not talking automatic submission to hundreds of directories, but let's say 3-4 directories would be ok.

But wont google think its duplicate content, and if not then how many times must the article be reposted on other directories for it to think that? Because i found an automatic submitting program,it can submit to more than 150 articles.

You should aim to index only ONE site, where your content in published. In the best case, it should be your website or blog. Sometimes EzineArticles would also be good.

Then when you submit your article to other directories, those are only for backlinks. You are not trying to index them, but only use as "votes" to your website.

As I said, duplicate content doesn't curt, as long as you don't have hundreds of copies....

You won't get penalized for duplicate content. Some of it won't get ranked, but it will still be indexed, and each article is still a backlink... but yeah top 3 directories is enough.
