I read the google guidelines but just to be 100% safe can someone send me their page or post a correct example of what we are to post on our sites privacy policy notice page? Also is the link to this to be posted right on our front page - correct? Or does it need to be on all pages?
Here is one that looks good: http://www.jensense.com/2009/04/03/...ample-with-interest-based-targeting-included/ I would like to it on all pages (you can put a link in the footer, for example).
you may find a lot of privacy policy examples just by hitting into google search "privacy policy" - you'll find tons on PP'S of kinds and conditions.
Documents like privacy policies are copyrighted like any other text. You should only copy text from policies where the author has given express permission for you to do so.
Mine is taken from Jensense http://shetoldme.com/privacy-policy and I wouldn't put one if it wasn't for adsense, what is written is pretty stupid, what's the need for such things? I don't care, I put it because adsense seems to be pushing for it, maybe because of the law, so let it be that way and comply with stupidity.
