Can I Place AdSence Ads on my own Social Bookmarking Site?

    I am planning to start a Social Bookmarking Site for my own.

    I am doing some research work on readymade Social Bookmarking scripts like

    phpdug clone
    digg clone
    scuttle and few more.

    Before I choose any of the above scripts for my Social Bookmarking Website I wanted to know the profit from this site by using Adsence or any other Ad services.

    Can I place Adsence Ads on the concept of my site.

    I have also posted this question in the Adsence Help Forum but it is 3 days and I have not got any reply.

    Please DigitalPoint experts can you clarify my doubts.

    You got my question wrong.
    I have a domain which I would be making a Social Networking Site.
    So my question was can I add Google Adsence ads on the site.

    The site would be used by other users to Socially Bookmark their links.

    i don't think you can place Google ads in other blogs,you can only place it in the domain or which you got registered.

    Of course you can add your adsense code to your social bookmarking site, but be careful what content is added by users.
    Write TOS (Terms of service page on your site) that you can't allow content like adult, porn, sex toys etc etc. Such a content is banned on adsense.
