Hi guys, i was wondering can i offer rebates to my customers/vistors. I know it's against the clickbank rules but I didnt heard anyone was banned by this practise before.
Just imagine this: you give someone a rebate and then that someone requests a refund from ClickBank So, not only you did not get a sale, but also you lost the rebate amount
some guides say offering rebates is OK for affiliates, but not for vendors. You can offer something lime 20% rebate on all purchases, then have the customer email you their info 60 days after purchase. The problem is, the timeline is hard to work with, and you will be receiving rebate requests directly after purchase. The common internet user has absolutely no ability to follow terms and will bitch at everything. I wouldn't recommend offering rebates before the 60 day refund timeline, but offering rebates could boost sales and profits because only a small percentage of buyers will actually remember to request the rebate after 2 months. Also gotta make sure your organization and methods are strong to keep tabs on all the rebate requests. I thought of doing this, but the extra work and the upset customers turned me away from this option..
