Can I nudge Google?

I have a page, not mine, on review site. I changed the business name and url. It's been few weeks and old cache remains.

is this url kosher to nudge google to update the page? it's not a new url or new page, but an out of date page.

Submit a google sitemap, social bookmark, keep posting content and google should get there in the end

 

Don't understand submitting a site-map, sounds like a lot of work. No interest in posting content to the page as I don't want to increase it's visibility, but want the new url/title index ok.
That form wont do the job? no other form?

 

Try this, on GWT of your site, increase a little bit the crawling rate for your site. Works for few times mine here.

 

Do any of these..

1.Add a link from other web pages . Once cached remove the links.
2.add it as ur signature link over here.
3.ping it using those free pinglist sites.

If you are not lazy......... best thing is resubmitting your sitemap.

when you get spiders on your new domain it will get recached.
