Can I make the 1st page sticky w/o sidebars?

I want to make the main page of my blog look more like a sales or review page with my products. So, I dont want side bars or anything. Then, I want there to be a link in the header to the blog posts which have all sidebars and everything.

    Is this doable...How?

I'm sending you a PM. I'll help you with this. ;) I don't think there's a plugin out there for this, it's pretty simple actually. Well, should be anyway! LOL!

Yeah, or that too. But I think the OP is confused all together about that stuff though. :/

EDIT: For a quick workaround or fix... in your: home.php OR index.php file, find this code: <?php get_sidebar() ?>
and remove it. Save the changes and the sidebar will be gone on your front page. Yet, the sidebar will be listed on your other pages.

Oh, can you also do that for just one of the pages?

@Rooothy, yes you can. Just, you might have a big blank spot over where the sidebar was though. Might have to style JUST that page accordingly. (Just in case since the sidebar isn't there anymore, it don't mess up the rest of the page.) But, if you're planning on filling the whole page with content stuff anyway, then you're fine regardless.

get a joomla site with blog plugin :)

In joomla it is dead easy to control what page element shows up at which page.
