Can I make money from Affiliate Marketing without having a website?

Infact majority of the affiliate marketers don't have a good website. They use advertising campaigns (like adsense) to get leads. But getting maximum profit from CPC campaigns need good research and knowledge.

Yes, you can make money from Affiliate marketing by posting your links on various social bookmarking sites,communities and blogs.

 

You can promote affiliate products without website - social networks, twitter, yahoo answers, ets. The main problem will be that not so many affiliate networks would accept you without a website. Search google for siteground - they used to have promotion $10 for 1 year hosting and free domain.

 

If you are good at writing articles you would be great on Squidoo. Just build a few lens and add some ads and you will make some money. Do a Google search on writing Squidoo Lens and you will find lots of good information to get you started.

 

Video marketing and Article marketing both are very good. If you
are a writer already it should be pretty simple with article marketing.

Use a free blog like squidoo or blogger for your money site.

OK, I will put my 2 cents worth. If you have talent for writing, like some of the others have mentioned, offer up your service. Yes, you can go via the free blogger or squidoo lens route, but I would caution you on that for a simple reason. You don't own those properties. If you do something wrong, they can yank your site away. Whereas, if you have your own website, at least you have more protection in my humble opinion only. But, internet marketing is a business and people need to realize there is going to be an investment in a business. Even a small one for a site or 2.

Since you are already comfortable writing it will be even easier for
you to earn.

 

As pointed out by surfingthenet, the good thing about a website is that it is YOU who owns the property, contrary to Squidoo lenses or free blog sites where they can throw you out and leave you with no business.

The question is: WHY do you not want a website? Two things come to mind:

a) Cost
Not an excuse. A domain can be found for 10-12 bucks, and dirt-cheap hosting (say, 4$/month) can be found in several places. Slightly more expensive hosting will even give you the domain for free. If you can't find any, PM and I'll point you out some.

b) You can't design web pages
Well, here cost could be an issue if you have to outsource it, but you can also buy some templates (plenty of those around) and modify them yourself. Or you can ask someone to modify the templates instead of designing a web from scratch, that could cost you perhaps around $300 for a 5-page site.

Alternatively, you could buy a TEL domain. Those domains don't require a web page, you simply place the text (and links) you want using a simple control panel and that's it. It then works like a website. As stated in a previous post, there is a guy with bargain.tel (or bargains.tel, I don't recall) promoting affiliate links, and he does not have a website. Oh, and the domain is YOURS, they cannot kick you out of that (unless you don't renew, of course).

 

You can make money, but(big but) as SEO said, you need to have a site. Grab content from somewhere if you have a hard time writing it and rewrite it,..it's better than nothing,..and follow forums about traffic. Set up a plan in advance on how you will drive traffic into your site,..and landing page. I have seen peers in the past "score" without knowing graphics, or having a grasp on HTML because they could put up a template, add some content, and drive traffic in. It's also good to learn the ropes because the more you know about design, the more valuable you are on the market.

 

Fully agree. One of my customers (a girl offering Arabic dancing lessons in Madrid) didn't know shit about web design. Well, she designed a quite nice site (www.danza-oriental.net) and has now over 3000 visitors/month! Apparently she had to expand the number of courses she gave and started doing it full time, there were so many people interested...
