    Hello mods

I had made a sales thread in DP. I have 3 reviews already posted in it. Can I make a new sales thread as I have updated my guide and I have a different sales pitch?

    Thanks

If the product has significantly changed then ask for the old thread to be closed (use report button) before you start a new thread. This should be the exception rather than the rule - some people could choose to "update" their product in a superficial way purely to bump their thread.

Of course I'm not a mod, so my advice you can take or leave.

@CountryBoy: Thanks for the advice. But I would go with something from a mod.

    what CountryBoy says.

and there is no guarantee it'll be closed.

If the guide itself is significantly different as Countryboy said, then you can request closure. But if the primary change is your sales pitch, it's not gonna happen.

@jhmattern: My guide is about SEO. I have added 2 new methods to it now! Because of this, I have a whole new sales pitch.

Now, can I make a new thread?

I'm not sure. Adding two new methods could mean adding two new bullet points to a list, or it could be a seriously expanded e-book. In something like the first case, no. If the second case, probably.
