Can i know why I received the latest infarction ?

Yesterday I have started a new thread in Google sub-forum , which has moved here in reviews section http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=157441

For that I received an infarction worth 1 point saying : Thread Started In Wrong Category

The thread was regarding changes which occur in Google search results, It has no relation with my site.

Can I request admin/moderator to remove it if I am not wrong?

The infraction doesn't show to other people. Only you can see it and it expires with time, so don't worry and move ahead :)

Even though it expires but I want to know whether I was wrong.
I think I was right and for which I should not have received the infarction. This gives a pshycological trauma.

If possible move the thread to its original location in google forum and please remove my infarction.:(

Read the description for the forums:

Google: THE search engine. This is for discussion about Google as a company, not for discussion of individual sites

Reviews: For anything that is specific to you and requires someone to go look at whatever it is.

Don't let it hurt your feelings, just move on and work on your sites rather than worry about something so small.

I dont think there is any specific relation with my site.

It happened for your site. It doesn't happen for my site.

Conclusion: It's about your site and how Google treats your site. Not Google's behaviour in general. Hence being a site specific review. People who want to learn about Google facts browsing the Google forum have no benefit of finding out how Google treated your specific site.

Reading your thread, it seems like its more about how your site is raking rather than anything general about Google.

EDIT: I didnt see TOPS reply before i posted. I meant basically what he said.

Starting a new thread for every infraction received is not among the greatest ideas.

There is nothing much you can do about infractions, so move on and be careful in future.
