    Hey--

Thanks in advance for your replies.

I wanted to know if I had bought a website from someone and they have amazon ads on it already, can I just use my search and replace tool to make it into my referral link?

    or

Do I need to create all new links through Amazon's site?

    Mary

if you have the same account.

If not you may have to register and get the account.

Not really clear what you are trying to do?

Sorry for the confusion, I signed up for an Amazon account after I saw the ads were still going to the old owners amazon referral link.

So I wondered if I would have to generate all new ads from amazon or can I just change the referral id to my referral id and leave the ads as they are now.

Thanks donald. There is another name/ before the other guy's id, I just wonder if thats some sort of downline code or something?

Do you know if Amazon does that?

try to create the same thing in yours control panel with your associate ID and see the all code.
the referral ID that point to you is look like mysite-20
all the rest is amazon redirect link to the product

    here's an ex :

    amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fgp%2Fproduct%2FB000O5VJRY%3Fpf%5Frd%5Fm%3DATVPDKIKX0DER%26pf%5Frd%5Fs%3Dcenter-7%26pf%5Frd%5Fr%3D1PBFF494YPMYE00JA7W1%26pf%5Frd%5Ft%3D101%26pf%5Frd%5Fp%3D290438601%26pf%5Frd%5Fi%3D507846&tag=yourcodehere-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325
