Can i Host xyz.wordpress.com to my ftp account ?

    Hey DP Geeks i wan to know that, if i have a blog say xyz.wordpress.com, can i host this blog on my personal FTP account ?? if yes then please give me some startup tutorial and tips :)

    No. The wp.com subdomain is not transferable away from their servers.

    u can host but then it wil xyz.yourdomain.com rather than xyz.wordpress.com , for hosting wp blog u need to install ur own wordpress and if u need site similar to wordpress.com , try to use WPMU.

    you can use your hosting, but buy hosting with at least 50 MB of space with fantastico installer tool to install your wordpress. Please, tell your hosting admin to fix your problem

    you can host the domain in your own servers, but you need your own domain. can't use wordpress subdomain on your server
    you dont have ftp access to wordpress subdomains as well. so you are tied with the admin panel.
