Can I host Red5chat on a remote hosting account

hello,I have a video chat app that needs red5chat installed in root folder-which i dont have access to.Can i run it from a streaming video host,without moving my site?

Yes, you can run. But you have to make sure red5 is installed on a dedicated environment. VPS would do the job anyway as it runs on a dedicated environment.

 

I think you need create sub domain name or sub folder and use separated database for it (if web hosting account allows it) and go ahead
