can i host file at some other server

if a website which name is abc is running by using win hosting and xyz has been register by using unix platform then can i use abc server for xyz (wants to host xyz files at the abc server) and xyz files on abc server. while the abc and xyz company servers are same?

 

I am a bit confused. Could you explain it a bit better?

 

I Think that he want to transfer files between the servers,running under different OS.

I guess, not possible with Windows and Linux since they have different file systems. Though you can manually upload/download them but direct server-to-server transfer isnt possible.
