Hi guys, I am new here and this is my first post and goes like this.

Before a buyer will purchase a product and it happen you redirect him/her in the Secure Payment Form of clickbank. And if you scroll down you'll see your affiliate ID like [affiliate=XXX.XXX].

There are some cases I see an affiliate ID something like this [affliate=SECURE128] or [affiliate=none]. How did this happen?

Can someone give me an explanation? Or is it possible for me to show my affiliate ID just like that?

    Thanks!

    Loreto

you have to be kind of sneaky, so as not to give away that is it an affiliate link. I don't have any great ideas for that so far.

Yeah because that would be great if all my aff links looks like that. And about the [affiliate=SECURE128], did the person just happen to have a CB nickname SECURE128 or did he/she use some kind of softwares?

When it's written, "affiliate none" it means there is no affiliate. If affiliate ID is "secure128" it means someone has a Clickbank account with nickname "secure128"

    LEGAL softwares cannot change that......

Here is my idea for you!!!

    1. Register another account with clickbank with nick that something no one know about it

eg. xxxxxxx, nothing, xxnonexx, something that you can think of.

    2. Create your affiliate link with tracking option, put some word with niche that you in.

eg. your nick is product. You track it with your niche product name or anything. If you are in music niche, so the affiliate will show like

    affiliate [PRODUCT.MUSIC]

if you see [affiliate=none] your not going to get credit for the sale.

you can just create an account like: safeorder, 88secure, buynow... etc... not sure if these are taken though

I agree, I think cloaking, redirecting, is the best choice. If you have your own domain name, you could make a friendly link: http://mydomain.com/resources/thisgreatproduct.htm.......what ever your product name, and in the redirect, inside the thisgreatproduct.htm file you can add the real url eg. <meta ...http-can't remember-redirect="http://youraffiliate.com/id=youridhere" />

that way you hide that id and show off your domain name:)

When you see [affiliate=none], it means what it says that there is no affiliate assigned to that product. I am fairly new on this site myself and learning just by reading these posting.
