Can I have sitemap as Backlink?

Can I have sitemap of my website as a backlink and place it in my signature link?

Yes of course google bots searchs your map and if you say them "hey my website map is here look at that and index all the links" they will probably like that.But if you want to do the best way about it you should place it in your footer.

i recommend you use the sitemap generator on you page then build its backlinks

 

If you mean XML sitemap - No, it cannot be used for backlinks

If you mean HTML sitemap - Yes, it can be used for backlinks as well as common internal linking structure.

 

u can add ur tag links into ur rss feed.

You can place a link to it in Footer, it will be the best way to do it.

i used xml creator plug in but the url ends in .html....

Just a confusion please clear me whether my site map is xml or html
