Hello Let say I have one article written with backlinks to my site. Can I post that article to all article directory? Or I have to creat unique for each directory?
In most cases that works. One article is often accepted by many directories and you get many backlinks.
It has been said that Google will penalize you for duplicate content, and in result, all of your articles that you submitted won’t get indexed in Google, and they will not count them as links back to your page, thus defeating your purpose. I don’t know how true this is…. It is my understanding that the first place Google sees the content will get the link or the authority link, and the rest won’t. So, instead of going through the trouble of submitting the same article to hundreds of directories, just change up your articles or “spin†them before you re-submit them.
You can submit same article in different directory, usually I submit 1 article in top 100 directories
Yes you can, if the article is your.. but some article site will not accept it..because of content duplication
If you want more traffic to your site and to your article than it will be superfluous, the reason behind that is if you post one article in different article directories than it will be copy for Google and as per Google webmaster's rule, it gets less priority than other.
As openlink stated, some article directories don't accept duplicate content. For instance, Buzzle doesn't. So you have to submit your article firstly to Buzzle and then to the other directories. What I do is I use PAW in order to get at least 50% of my articles different and then submit to directories. In all honesty, I noticed a great difference since I do it than before when I used to submit the same article to directories. Hope this helps Dom.
you can submit it wherever and whenever you like. Unless you make it unique each time, however, you're wasting the opportunity. It certainly won't help you rank.
you are right about google not indexing the duplicate content on all the directories but there is NO penalty. how can google penalize YOU for having same content on 3rd party sites which you dont have any control over? if the penalty was that easy, then evil competitors would submit same articles on 100s of sites to get their competitor's sites penalized.
Thats a very nice point that you have made here. Thanks for correcting me. But still i believe that submitting unique content can b more useful and fruitful than submitting the same content over different directories.
posting your article to different article submission sites is acceptable and you can even post it to your blog before that.
