BTW - how does one from Maylasia end up publishing the "official" blogs of different states and the information contained on them has nothing to do with the states whatsoever? They are full of text about products and then you repeat the process of the spam text in grey on white background.

Worrying about how many ads you can have will not matter if Google suspends your accont altogether.

Before you get too defensive, you should realize that the information given unto you was to keep you out of hotwater, not to incite.

The "bandwagon" defense will not save in you in the end. Just because someone else is doing it and hasn't been caught YET doesn't make it okay for someone else to replicate the process. If that same idiot published porno on his blog and got by with it FOR NOW, would you?

 

hello wrmineo, thanks for your warm concern regarding the state blog, for your information im doing this alone, i have a vision putting news on every state on America since the majority of internet user is American, right now I am very bz with my job, i dont have time to put the news on all these state blog whtsoever, so temporarily i am putting product news and information to these blog and hopefully when the time come i will have time manage all that blog and not putting misled information.

 

Dont bother about what others are do. I am not sure about what the above sites are doing, but just because other sites violate TOS, doesnt mean you have to violate them too. Try to be within TOS.

Google allows max 3 ad units and 1 ad link on each page. Also Google doesnt permit any other context based ad on the same page.

Placing too many ads doesnt help anyway ...it will only give you lower and lower paying ads...reducing your ecpm.

If you have an honorable vision, then I would suggest that you merely post what you can and leave the commercial info and text off - it will only give people the wrong impression and they won't return.

Further, I'd suggest that you don't use the term "official" else true officials will complain to Google/Blogger and get the blogs deleted. Every US state has official websites with great information, history, links et al - you could merely start with that and lose the commercial, non-relevant content which comes across as someone trying to make a buck.

There's nothing wrong with trying to make a buck, don't get me wrong. But I think it will be better accepted by visitors if the content is relevant to the site/blog.

If I post a link for free tax help and it's in fact a site trying to sell the Britney Spears sex video ... you get the point hopefully.

alang - your points are well received and acknowledged. First off, I like to give the benefit of the doubt, even though I'm doubtful of his intentions. Secondly, read between the lines .... there's plenty of skeptical sarcasm there and just enough rope to let him hang himself, to wit I'm guessing he figured out as he's decided to not respond. I'm sure that if you give it a few days and check his blogs again, you'll see a huge difference, if they're online at all.

 

adfunk01 has about a 0% chance of having good intentions with the U.S. state blogs. Even if all the irrelevant content was removed, the little information he actually included about the states has been ripped from AP or other news sources.
