Can I have more than 1 Google Adwords Accounts?

Hello,

New to this. Searched this but had alot of different threads.

I know I can have various gmail account, but can I have various Adwords accounts?

I see alot of people buying vouchers for adwords and thought I would try this. I started an adwords account but have not used it yet, but it has been open now for more than 14 days. This is the amount of time I am hearing that you have to start using these vouchers on new accounts.

So, do I cancel the account I have already, even though never used or just open new ones and how many?

I guess the adwords account stick to your gmail accounts, right?

Yes, you can have multiple AdWords accounts. AdWords Support has the answer.

So, from your answer you say I can, but if I read the Adwords help center:

"Google maintains a high standard for our user experience and the quality of our advertising. In order to preserve the quality and diversity of ads running on Google, we don't allow advertisers or affiliates to have any of the following:

* Ads across multiple accounts for the same or similar businesses.
* Ads across multiple accounts triggered by the same or similar keywords."

I cannot because I would be using it for Affiliate marketing.

Now the reason I ask is because I see people selling vouchers and they state that they must be for new accounts. Well, I started a new account a few weeks ago and have not used it; at the time I did not know you could buy a voucher to at least have some practice with it since I am new.

Can I cancel this account and start another one, I have not started advertising with it yet, but they also state that the account needs to be 14 days new or less to use the vouchers.

yes you can have multiple accounts in adwords but not in adsense .

 

IF you buy vouchers to open multiple accounts you will get banned. The vouchers are usually one time things for new accounts only. A new account meaning you have never had a different account.

The limit to Campaigns is a very low 20 isn't it?

Can more than 1 account be opened, you think, if you obviously need more than 20 campaigns?

It seems obsurd that Google just wouldn't increase your campaigns to something like 50 once the 20-limit has been reached, but there you go.

 

Yes, I have at least 5 open right now (all opened on vouchers).

Do you use the same information to register for all of them? Sorry, I know that some people change info to get different accounts.

I guess a better question is: Is it legal to have more than 1 account without being banned? Not trying to beat a dead horse, just do not want to get banned.

Like I mentioned, I opened an account but have not used. So, I want to get a voucher on a discount price and practice with it, before I start using my money.

I read the adwords help, it also states that you can open different accounts if you are going to manage accounts for people, that will not be my case.

But surely, if you do the 1 word per Ad Group and use all the campaigns up, Google will see this and give you extra Campaigns ontop of the 20?

Otherwise, they are asking you to structure your account in a way that isn't best suited.

 

I have created all accounts with the same information, but have used 2 different credit cards for the 5+ accounts.

You will not be banned ever, the worst they will do is suspend your account, but they will only do that if you have a ton of accounts open with vouchers.

I think you can have 1 personal account and 1 business account
