ya I think there is no harm in putting both ads in the same site. i am running Adbrite and adsense on the same site together. you can check my signature links. but be careful about number of ads don't put too much ads. that can create trouble.

You're allowed to display Google ads on the same site or page as other third party advertisements provided that the formatting or colors of the third party ads is different enough from that of the Google ads. In other words, if you choose to place non-Google ads on the same site or page as Google ads, it should always be clear to the user that the ads are served by different advertising networks and that the non-Google ads have no association with Google.

Other ad services can be displayed on the same page as AdSense, provided they don't appear like AdSense and can't be confused with it, and that their content and actions don't cause your site to be in violation of the program policies or terms and conditions.

Using TLA has always been frowned upon by google and sites caught using it were severely penalized. You might want to take note on that.

I tried both on several sites. Turns out (weirdly enough) that earnings dropped in some niches and went up in others. Maybe I did not have enough traffic. I disabled TLA because I got way too many sub $0.05 clicks.

I have read this so many times and I can personally say you can put them at the same time... (here we again) provided you do not violate any TOS. Some adsense experts seem to frown about putting them together as Google doesn't really like them. To get a definitive answer to write Google adsense and see what they say.

You can put any other ad in pages with adsense on it, as long as the other ads do not look similar to adsense ads.

lifeplayer is usually right on target with his advice, but I have to say I disagree with this. TLA has been in major trouble with Google on more than one occasion, and the selling of paid links on any site is a violation of both Google's and AdSense's TOS. Their TLA business model worked well a couple of years ago, until Google wised up and started severely penalizing sites for this sort of activity.

I'd have to agree with ClassHelper and err on the side of caution and maybe just avoid TLA all together. Just an opinion.

I thought as long as the paid links had nofollow then it was not against Google's TOS, not sure about Adsense TOS though.

yeah..but get ready for a PR drop.Google hates TLA. And I firmly believe adding adsense actually brings it to their attention..as i was tla for a year but my pr dropped soon after adding adsense.
but then, pr isn't that important these days.
