can i give a city name while submission and login and work from another city

    hello i am new to this forum
    while submitting i gave a city name but i submitted this from another city and going to work from this city which is different from the name in the submitted city for official purposes
    will they detect the ip and for the change of city is that anything wrong
    and also is it possible to find the location(i meant the exact location like street address etc ) using ip address without the help of isp
