The only thing that matters for PR is links Good content increases the chances that someone will link to you from their site More links = higher PR That's why it is said content is king
I hear what everyone is saying about inbound links creating the PR. What's different here, is that at the time, the only links I had were the one PR4 from 1stpageseo, and links from my main site. At the time of the update, my main site had a PR2 on the hope page, and the remainder of pages had PR0. So, the long and short of it is, the only link I had at the time of the update was the one PR4. Is it possible to get a PR4 from one PR4 link?
If you look at the links, they are mostly from my site. www.joelane.com has over 300 pages in it. The North Carolina links I got after the update. Which leaves the 1stpageseo link(s).
My blog has not bought any backlinks but its PR4 for years and PR is not the aim you write blog. Unique content should be valueable and you may get free high quality backlinks
Absolutely correct. However if you cant produce content up to “royalty standardâ€, you will have to rely on manually getting yourself some links where content becomes queen and links become king, its all relative to a particular site. Semperfi, you have 400 back links of which 1 is a PR3 pointing to your homepage. This is the reason for your PR of 4.
I have the same case. Gumuk.com is updated contantly and is unique. However, i do a sitewide link from my PR4 site zeebob.com. Now it is PR4. I was thinking it should get PR1 or 2 because of small link.
Again, at the time of the update, I didn't have these links. See the previous posts by me for explanation.
Sounds like this one site that linked to you has similar content & not many outgoing links, so you benefited from theier PR4.
if your content is really good and unique with some good links pointing to ur site then its not difficult to achieve..
Yes, if your readers like your post they will link to you voluntarily. Giving you a chance to have PR4 or more. But it really depends on the PR and quality of the site linking to you.
So, what everyone is saying is there is NO WAY to garner PR from anything but inbound links? Any dissenters? I guess I want to be perfectly clear on this, as is sure appears that changing content has something to do with it.
Yep, PR algo is basically about inbound links . The more quality backlinks you have the more chances to get high PR.
Yes...PR is directly proportional to the number of quality inbound links. Content cannot get you those directly. It can do so but indirectly...
For PR you need Links Adding Unique Content May Get You Links => PR but is not sure .... Just my opinion and PR is not important Rankings Are
PR isn't everything, I think that in theory, if you have only 10 links and all are PR7, you can get PR4 to your site, but maybe is less powerful than a PR3 with lot of more links also in MSN/YAHOO. Google isn't everything
can anybody tell me is there any other site to check multiple bulk pageranks except of www.rankalert.net???? pls pm me
