Can I Get Some Help With Selling Websites?

Im a graphic artist, writer, and web designer. I am in the process of making websites to sell here and I was hoping you could answer some questions please?

1)When someone bids on your website, what's to prevent them from welching on the deal? i.e. ruining your offering by bidding too high to scare away all bidders and then not paying?

2)I know it depends on the content, but what is a good price range around here for a 25 page niche website with a flash header but without a domain name? Im refering to a website with unique written content on each of those pages, not seen anywhere else that I wrote and has very good attention to organic SEO: keyword density for in demand low competition keywords.

3)Again, I know it depends on the niche and the content, but what about the same as #2 above but this time WITH a cool domain name?

4)How do I determine or measure the PR rank of a website I build traffic with? a number between 0 and 10 I believe, right?

Thanks a million to all who help this digital point newbie out and I hope you have a great new year!

Just some prankster or a generally bad person. It happens. What's to prevent it from happening is the question, not if it is happening "much". Are there safeguards here to help offset this kind of activity?

can anybody else help me with my questions, please?

We truly have not had a problem with that. If someone renigs on his bid, open bidding back up for last price before the winning bid.

Pagerank of an existing site can be obrained by downloading and running the Google toolbar or by using keyword tracker. If you have not tried the tracker you should. It is a handy tool.

    Thanks smyrl,
Do you or anyone else have comments on the other questions, please? I dont want this discussion to focus only on that issue.

I really appreciate your input, though, and login's too, so dont get me wrong.

The other questions are difficult to answer but you more or less said it yourself, “it depends on the niche and the content”. On DP you can have sites selling for $10 - $5000+ so it really depends on how much you think its worth..

You should also consider designing and selling templates.

Nothing, but if you believe that is the purpose then report the post ([IMG]), give your reasons and let the mods investigate.

You'd need to review other sales. When you list it set a BIN and have a reserve.

A cool site at pink-guitars-for-girls.com won't be as valuable as a cool site at books.com. Generally though a domain should raise the value.

PR is googles ranking tool. Becareful to check for real PR when buying domains as some show a "fake" PR. I think this is the tool used most often: http://www.seologs.com/pr-check/pagerank.html

And as well, you seem to be offering some very good services. If you deliver what you say, well, lets just say I will be keeping my eye on you for sure :)
