Promotion, dedication, unique content and LINK BACKS!

Very easy to do. I started www.myspace4yourpage.com in January. First PR update I got 2, second I got 4.

Add a new page daily, give your users something to come back for. Don't suffocate your page with ads and popups!

Just update, keep promoting... whether it be in forums or directories as boring as it is, DO IT!

Title and meta keywords and description are a good factor too... if you want some PHP coding that's very simple to add different titles, keywords & description let me know.

Good luck on your quest for high PR!

    Regards,

    Scott.

    Hi.

Its useless to have PR 1, if your link are not coming in SERP.

You can find so many free hosted and community site are getting higher rank.

Just go through this link johhnyloveami.peperonity.com

and search in google for mp3 ringtones related keywords.

like, all types of mp3 tones, latest mp3 tones, hindi mp3 tones, romantic mp3 tones, instrumental mp3 tones.

The Link will shown in first 2 pages of google.

Just prepare proper content and choose relevant keywords for your site.

And SE Submissions and Directory submissions Are needed.

Best of luck you could get PR 1 in 6 months by only proper submissions.

is there any other reason why do want to target pr1 instead of a higher pr? ok here you gonna do! first you have to optimized your pages and be sure you have the appropriate keywords and unique titles on different pages of your site. Then you have to create a sitemap after that submit your site in search engines and directories, if you done these right I'm sure after a several weeks or few months you will get more than pr1! Good luck

    EricaJoieake...

Does a sitemap really matter though as long as your pages are linked correctly?

This is something I've always wondered.

I don't have a sitemap, never have. I don't seem to have too much of a problem with google, I do agree with keywords and meta tags.

I'm playing about with mine at the moment trying new things, like now for example I'm using the same title, keywords & description also placing a paragraph on each page putting the same keywords as the title in bold.

Well... webmastering is trial and error I say.
