Can I get information from google analytics to make a hit counter?

    Can I get information from google analytics to make a hit counter?

    And could you suggest me some frequently used web/host tracker please.

    there are scripts to do that( wich i don't know), but i have a friend that query master Google to get the pagerank! in the beginning was ok but after the numbers of query increase he experienced a lot of probleme with daddy Google! if you noticed most of the "get website statistic" sites are down very frequently

    Hit counters are old school and it's probably unwise to add one. It's just code taking up space and resources for zero benefit. Visitors normally don't care how many "hits" you have when visiting your page. Either it's relevant or it's not.

    that that i know of. feedburner has a good one to show on your website. You only want to show users your hits usually in blogs noadays but also only if you get a few hundred visits a day at least.
