    Nowadays it doesn't really matter if you get the same domain name as a company (ofcourse if the name is copyrighted, you are going to need permission from them, before receiving a cease and desist letter), you would still need backlinks, and great content to get traffic

    No it's not a good way.If you want to got huge traffic you use forum posting and try to attract huge visitors at a time.It is really useful.
    SEO work also help try it.
