Can I get Googlebot to visit ??

Hi I am real new to website building and have a new site only 3 months old. managed to get PR2 is this any good and can I get the Googlebot back now I have added content and improved the site?

If you already have PR2, googlebot will be visiting your site all on its own.

 

Thanks guess I am being impatient. Is 9 days a long time between visits and where can I get an up to date check.

 

if you want more googlebot visit, you will need more backlinks.

 

ya put more exposure on your site. the more sites acknowledge your present on the net the more google bot loves you.

 

you can also use services like pingoat.com and pingomatic.com to ping your site which will alert some bots to come by (and word usually gets back to google as well )

 

Submit a sitemap through Google Webmaster Tools.

 

You may also want to take note that frequent visit does not do your site any good if your content remains the same.. Hence, to reap the benefits of the bots' visit, fresh content and page importance is the key

 

i would suggest submit sitemap

 

Try something like <meta name="revisit-after" content="7 Days"> then submit it again through google.com/addurl

That tells bots to revisit your site every week, or whatever you put in

 

I had a site for 3months,and Know PR4,
I suggest U 3 things:
1,submit a sitemap,and update everyday(2 URL).
2,get more backlinks,build inbound links too.
3,update everyday(2 URL)with good content.

I do those things for 3 months ,know one main keywords get 30 ip per days...
and u can use the google webmasters to Monitor when the G's bot download your sitemap, LOL..so I feed the Bot too new Url everyday,and the Bot never lates..
