Can I get Google to show a detail page instead of list page?

    I had a lot of detail pages showing up when people searched for job titles and salaries. Now those searches still find my site but are showing a list page not the detail page. The rank I have in the search result is the same but the title for the detail page is more specific than the list page so the traffic has dropped.

    Can I get the detail pages to be prefered again? It's almost like I need to un-SEO the list pages.

    To see list page example click on Salary Lists in the footer of www.salarymap.com. Click on any job to see a detail page.

    Do you have any outside sites link to deeper pages on your site?

    I have submitted site maps in the past. The site has links in each page to the list pages and the list pages have links to every detail page. So the bots can easily find all the pages. I don't see how site maps can help, can they help if they have already been submitted and the pages they list are easy to find by a bot?
