Can I Get CB To Email Me When I Make A Sale (as an affiliate)

Discussion in 'ClickBank' started by scottysbody, Mar 2, 2009.

I have my publisher accounts set up to email me when I make a sale. They are sent to my blackberry and excite me every time it vibrates!

But I'm wondering if I can get sales notifications emailed to me when I make a sale as an affiliate? I filled in the transaction email under account settings but haven't gotten anything. Is this even possible?

    Thanks,

    Scotty

I was just looking for you, I am pretty sure you can do it, but finding it is another matter, as CBs layout is so 1997.

yes you can. there is a script that does it.

CB ALERT - its free after you opt-in

http://www.clickbankbonusdominationreviewed.com/ (nothing to do with me)

all you need is somewhere to host it!

its actually really awesome. you can extend your account snapshot to 60 days!

Nick, I concur about the CB layout.

You were just looking for me? Shoot me a PM if you want to talk.

Mill, thanks for the link. I'm assuming it's the CB alert download on the right side of the page. How does it work? So this is not associated with CB? What info do I have to enter to get it to work? ie, I'm not wanting to give a third party site my CB password.

Anyone else know if this is possible through CB?

    Thanks,

    Scotty

it is fully self hosted. you need to setup your own DB. ive checked thru the code and its safe as houses.

all you need to do is install the files on your server. setup a db (easy as instructions) and configure the settings in a php file.

then in your CB account here configure the Secret Key and Instant Notification URL.

then login to the dashboard and you're set.

ive had it running for a couple of months. no problems at all. no one is stealing anything from me etc. you can even add multiple accounts!

Recently(in the past few months) CB added the option to run a page whenever a sale is made. This page is configurable from your CB account.

Get some php programmer to create a page for you that will run (send emails and do whatever with it) whenever a sale is made for $5 ;)

That option is for publishers, not for affiliates.

No its not, publishers do not have to do anything to receive notifications. I was refering to the same thing as "ScoTech" said in the above post...:)

There's a cool little tool you can download called Clickbank Notifier - it sits silently in your task bar until you make a Clickbank sale then it goes KA-CHING! I haven't made enough posts to put live links on - but you can Google it I'm sure and come up with it.
