Can i get banned for having too many adverts above the fold? I have three ad block n couple of ad units all in accordence with the TOS, and i have good content on my site, but can i get banned from google for having too many ads above the fold or anything similar? I want to make it so you have to scroll down before seeing the specific page content, and ads above the fold. Can anyone see any problems with this? thanks in advance
No, that is fine. However it may not be well for your website, because most likely no one will link to you if you do that...unless your content is so good and unique that a similar website with similar information can't be found.
You are providing a lousy user experience. From that perspective you can get in trouble. But alot of people are doing it and... well, they are adsense publishers. Better ask adsense team.
Agreed. I would definitely check with Google if you are nervous about doing it. Better safe than sorry IMO.
Google will not serve you more ad units, then you are allowed. Placement is entirely your responsibility as long as you do not try to be deceptive. But as others have said: What you are doing will generate a lousy user experience. Bombarding your visitors with advertisement will more likely decrease then increase CTR, so it is in your best interest to place the units sparsely. No will not be banned if you are using 3 ads box and 2 link ads and you can use affiliate link banners of adsense products . All depends on how big your site is .
