    Hi there,

I want to know that can I get 1000 visitors per day from the articles directories if I submit 100 articles in the 1000 article directories.

Is it possible to get 1 visitor from each article directory where I have submitted 100 articles.

If I get 1 visitor from each article directory per day out of 100 articles then 1x1000=1000.

Is it possible to get this amount of visitors by this method?.

    Any idea plz

It's not likely that visitors will come from the directories themselves, but instead from the sites that republish the article (your link being on the bottom). I don't know that you'd get many visitors, but you would probably get a bunch of backlinks.

The problem with articles is that they often go into the supplemental index due to being considered duplicate content. Once in the supplemental index the page probably won't have much, if any, PR value. Also, once in the supplemental index it becomes less likely that potential visitors will even find your site because supplemental pages come up very low as far as SERPs are concerned.

You'd get much more by posting the articles on your site and submitting them to Digg/Netscape (especially if you found some help in generating popularity on those stories.

I Doubt it. I have submitted articles to Ezinearticles which is one of the popular directories that has an alexa ranking of under 500 I believe and when ever I submit an article to them I get about 1 - 5 visitors in a whole month for each article. After that month the article will only generate a visitor here and there.

Although the category that I submit the articles in is probably not the most popular category, but still it's still not much traffic. I get more traffic from some sites that actually republish the articles.

Before posting your articles to article directories consider making a list of sites that are relevant in topic to your articles, perhaps ones that you can see have published articles from directories before.

Offer each site owner a choice of the free content. Explain that it is original and will not be published anywhere else online.

This may get 20 of your 100 articles posted on relevant sites and Google will not throw them in the supplemental index.

Keep going and when you get tired submit any remaining articles to the directories.

How about ONE GREAT article and digg, stumble etc, or press release etc...

    Quality over quantity...

I seriously doubt this and I never recvd 1k visitors ONLY from directories.I publish articles there for links and not for traffic but then again no harm in trying , give it a shot and maybe it will workout for you .

Don't bother wasting your time submitting to the smaller article directories, I would also suggest publishing them on your website and submitting to social bookmarking websites.
