Can I force robots.txt to be updated?

    So i screwed up my robots.txt - but according to google webmaster tools it still has the old one -- is there anyway I can force it to be re downloaded? or just make the process faster?

    It was last downloaded 1 hr before I found my mistake, so pretty recently lol

    you can resubmit your robots.txt in Google Web Master tools.

    You can manually update robots.txt file.

    You can delete and re-upload with the brand new file. You need to update your server with the new robots.txt file as well.
