    Hi, everyoen...

    2004 is almost over...
I hope everone in here had great time (myself didn't  )

I have some questions on Co-op

    1. I currently have about 3,000 weight togather from 3 sites. I merged all the weight to one account,,, My questions is How much can I expect from this much of weight??Like how many IBL in next update??

    2. How much weight do you guys have??Am I having too small to expect decent outcome??

    3. On "My Pool Of Advertisements" I have 3 Ads and My questions is What does weight represent there in the Pool of Advertisement? If I choose 5 then I will get 5 links??? or I will get 5 links from same site?? or that's the most important??

    Thanks everyone..,, :)

What you can expect is really an unknown to a lot of us. There are people with a boatload of weight - in the hundreds of thousands, but from what I understand there are several people with a weight in the low thousands. Personally, I'm around 50K.

How many IBL's? Well, that's a hard thing to say for a few reasons - the number of sites in the network is always changing, google shows only a sampling of backlinks - usually only those with a PR of greater than 4, and you don't know if your ads will be displaying when the spiders show up on the pages.

What I can tell you in regards to IBL's is that you can check yahoo and msn's beta search (beta.search.msn.com I believe) for a more realistic look at your IBL's. Even though google might not show them, they get counted.

The weight setting for ads in the network control panel is relative. Meaning that if you give a weight of 5 to all your ads, they will all display the same amount. But if you give a weight of 5 to one ad, and a weight of 1 to another ad, the ad with a weight of 5 will be displayed 5 times as much as the ad with a weight of 1. This is to help you prioritize your pool of advertisements. It doesn't have anything to do with your network weight.

You know, I would be able to answer your question if the search engines weren't so flaky.

I have about 3k weight, and that's worked it's way up from 1k about 2 weeks ago.

When I do a MSN Beta search for my backlinks, I get wierd responses. First, it tells me 547 BLs. When I hit "next" so see the next page, it says 1,300 BLs.

Yahoo shows me at 128 links, and that's including about 30 to 40 "other" links. (Forums sigs, etc.)

So anywhere from 100 to 1300 links in 2 weeks... Hows that for some swag?

Another tool out there that seems pretty good for tracking BL's is MarketLeap's BL checker. It will track and graph BL's and changes for Google, Yahoo, MSN and others. You can give it a try at: http://www.keywordperformance.com/seo_tools.cfm
