    Hi All,
I am having a website which is 3 year old. I stopped maintaining it over last 2 years and there is not much traffic or adsense revenue coming from it. Also i belive there are certain my SEO practices made my site to drop SERP in search engines. I am thinking of doing any one of following actions
    1. Clean the content and move the cleaned content to new domain and start fresh.

    2. Clean the content with in old site itself and change adsense layout position .

In any of the above two option which will be good to gain SERP again.

Well the site may be penalized by Google. You need to first figure this out before moving forward on any future plan.

Does the site rank in google for is domain name?

You are crazy if you go to a new domain. Domain age is "the" ranking factor of the moment with Google.

Use Google sitemaps to see if you can find a penalty. Correct the issues and then go about building a better link profile and you will do much better.
