Can I download my files via cpanel?

    Hi there,
I have a site on some hosting that has the FTP disabled. Is there any way I can download the files (.html format)? If so, how do I do it?

    Thanks in advance,
    - Peter

If all you need is the HTML - then you could probably get away with using "wget" to download the site.

If you can see the "File Manager" or "Backups" icon in cpanel then that might be a possibility to download the files.

Yes, look for an icon that says "backup" once you get to that section you can download an archive of the entire site to your hard drive.

Some versions of cPanel do not have this feature.

You are very welcome I am sure. I have gotten help and advice myself many times here at DP. It really is a great resource for all of us.
