Hello! Can I attach somebody else's bank account to my Paypal account in order for me to withdraw funds to it (the bank account)? Is this okay with Paypal?

    Please advise.

i have done this in the past, paypal will deposit 2 small sums into that account, and you have to tell them what the amounts were.

Thanks, sawz, for the quick response! So, you attached a bank account to your paypal account and that bank account is not yours, is that it? And this is not against Paypal's policies?

no problem, as long as the name on the bank account matches the name on the paypal account

    Else it will give problems

I did the same thing as Saws, by attaching a family members bank account to my Paypal account.
Later I got myself a credit card and used that to verify the account the rest of the way.

    Obviously you can't...

If the name attached to the bank account doesn't match to the name you signed up to PayPal with then you won't be able to withdraw

Not where I live. I was withdrawing funds into the family members account & having them take it out for me for a couple of months.

And I was of the impression that on withdrawal request, paypal issued payments only in the name of the Account holder and no other name !!!

    Has anyone tried this India?

This Doesn't Work In India. I Tried This Payments Gets Reversed And Paypal Charges Fees For Reversals.
