If i want to transfer my thread ownership to another, is it allowed on DP. For example i sell xyz item on DP n now someone bought a resale rights for it but would wanna use the same sale thread as its getting more clients than the new thread would probably get. Moreover him being a new DP member, people may not buy from him. Can i do that. If yes how ?? If no. Just mention No and i will tell him the same. Sandra
I see your point but I don't see how it would be possible for them to do so. If they did that sort of thing then it might also make sense that they would delete certain threads which they do not.
Much easier and less confusing to close the original thread and cut and paste the details into the new thread.
Why not post a link to the new thread and close discussion of the first thread and also mention the name of the new reseller? That way people interested in buying the product know where to go to get it from the new seller.
Ok can i mention this in the thread that i have sold this product to xxx member and that hence forth all payment queries should go to xxx member ONLY. Can a Mod reply as well to this post for clarification please..... Or i can mention that he is the one who will be taking orders from now as he is now an affiliate of this product and i'm giving all my responsibilities to him....
Create a new thread. Put a link to it in the old thread. State that member A endorses member B. Be very careful before you endorse member B though if you don't know them well.
Gotcha!! Two Mods replied to the query. Another one was smyrl through PM she denied transfering ownerships of thread so i will take sarah's suggestion and shall send the same to this xxx member....
