Can I do this as an incentive?

Let's say that I have a product on the net that I developed. Now let's say that I want to create a new product. Is it wrong/illegal/unethical to offer the original product as a bonus for my new product? even if the first product is still live and selling?

I haven't done this, and I probably won't, but I was curious to know whether this is a common practice, or does the original product have to be "discontinued" first?

It's been done before a few times and there's nothing wrong as long as both products are yours, but you probably should see if many affs are sending hops to your original product first.

It is just like value added service.

Now many vendors have done that, they offer other products for free, or for a lower price. It is a common practice.

This is a valid tactic, although the people that bought the original product might feel kind of bad.

What I suggest you do is, rebrand the bonus product, just give it another name. That way, the original buyers of the product, and the affiliates, won't be worried or affected from it.
