Can I do campaigns in a different blog other than registered?

Hi,

I have registered a website with CJ.
Can I run a campaign with the same code on different websites?
Or should I add that to CJ and generate a new code?
Please clarify.

 

i have put the same links on more than one site, the only problem with that is you cant tell which sites the clicks are coming from so its hard to tell what converts where, but CJ never had a problem with it if that's what your asking.

if you want to use different links, just go to "get links" and get the code again. each time cj generates an aff link its different.

There's actually a way on how to detect where the clicks came from... You can assign a code even if u use the same code on different sites...

When you get the code for the advertiser link, just assign a different "SID" for your different sites. (You will see this option above the generated code on the page)

This will allow you to track performance even if you only have 1 website registered with CJ.

The same applies if you advertise via a newsletter to your members.

 

But isn't that you first need to register all the sites/blogs that you intend to publish ad links? I assumed that you can't simply write a post including your affiliate link in a forum website or something similar.

Am I mistaken?
