    Don't do it DUDE!!........

Actually i had been thinking the same thing but...

If you earn all your cash from one site it can go so wrong so easily.

I still work because if i didnt i would lose a big chunk of income. But if i gave up work i could improve my business and make more money that way...

    Its a tough one

start an ecommerce site - you'll earn more and have your own customers, rather than relying on googles customers. That's what i'm doing. Still no chance of me quitting my day job though!! lol

    Good luck

No. Websites are investments. Diversify, you want to be stable enough that if any traffic source, monetization source, or industry collapses, you will still have a majority of your income unaffected.

This is another reason I'm a fan of the 10 websites making $10 rather than 1 making $100 strategy

I don’t think I could ever contemplate earning a living from Google’s AdSense taking into consideration how fickle they tend to be.

yes...it highly depends on where you stay....if income is much higher compare to the cost of living, it is wise to quit and concentrate fully on website...but remember to diversify your income in the mean time....consider other ads company.

No, try to depend on other ad networks as well to increase your earnings.

I was just thinking similar with TS, until :
    - We can absolutely sure about Google Adsense, things can be right for now, but how about 6 months later ?
    - Need to have another safe earning source other than Adsense, and it's stable.

So, I would say "No.". Until you have another source of earnings other than Adsense.

It's said: "Don't lay your eggs in one basket."

    Cheers,

Diversify your income. don't just rely on Adsense get other things happening as well. I'm trying to get about 4 different income sources going by the end of the year. Once you do that you can handle it if one of your income sources goes down for a day like one of mine did over this weekend. Lost nearly $1000 *GULP*.

A lot of people are doing it, but I wouldn't recommend it.
You never know if your site will be down for a couple days or even up to a week, and it's really not a reliable source of income.

In theory, you can do it. Bunch of people make about ~20K a month, enough for a decent way of life. But, it is insecure. Imagine that you are 60 years old, no college or anything, and google bans you :p what are you going to do? :(

I don't have a job yet, never had a stable one, just some summer gigs... and i entirely rely for now on adsense. And i earn a considerable amount of cash, good enough for me (and it keeps me unemployed too...maybe that isn't too good).

Sell something from one of your sites. Do not depend 100% on Google.

It depends on amany factors, not least the cost of living in a country.

Google, AdSense, etc. are going to die some day.
It's not a stable income that you can rely on.
