so if i have gone through and found all these sites and listed them on my site . . . IN MY SIGNATURE . . . if someone REALLY wants their site removed . . . can i charge them NOT per se to remove the link but for my time/labor to remove the link ?

or will this be considered some sort of bribery/black mail ?

ONCE AGAIN THE SITE IS IN MY SIG :D

You would have to remove it and not charge or you could face slander charges. Charging for removal no matter what you call it could result in a charge of extortion. It is a negative site and will cause you nothing but grief. I would not touch that type of site because it normally ruins the rep of the person who owns it.

thanks for your quick response !

now let me ask you this . . . if i dont charge to remove the link - but i also dont remove the link when asked to because it is listed for my own thoughts and such ( freedom of speech )

do you think it is still slander ?

HERE IS AN EXAMPLE - where the webmaster found his site on a site like mine

    http://shitwebsites.net/2008/10/28/diamond-commercials-in-fuengirola/

the owner of Diamond Commercials is the John Agate or how ever you spell it post in this "blog"

When I hit your navigation buttons (ironically) it opens them up in a new window.
I don't think as many people as you think will pay your extortion fee. Also the time you spend on this project will be saturated in negativity. Success comes easier when surrounded by and promoting positivity.

You won't have a strong repeat customer base, because people don't want to visit crappy websites.
To answer your question now. You can do what you want. And so can other people. Jurisdictions, liable lawsuits, etc. Noone can predict what will happen.

Better to work on win/win projects instead of win/lose projects.

It depends on where you are in the world. If you are in the United States, I would say that you can express an opinion but you are outright calling someones possible business a piece of shit in a public atmosphere. A good lawyer could make a strong case for slander or defamation of character.

In other parts of the world, it may not matter at all, I am not sure of their laws.

It would be rare for it to come to that point but it only takes one to wipe you out.

Yes i sort of felt a little bad when i actually read the response from from the site owner cause i had i site that was like the one he was listed on . . . but then i looked at in a positive way . . . this site is NOT for the little guy it is about websites that have done something wrong to some one else . . . for example charged some one 250 dollars for a POS homepage or even 3300 dollars FOR SEO "That we cant GUARUNTEE any rankings" and then NOTHING IS EVEN DONE NOT A DESCRIPTION, KEYWORDS OR ANYTHING

To each his own, but I foresee you won't have an easy time running this site. It is good for you to see this in a positive light though not many will view it as you do. As GhengisKhan has pointed out, it is better to go for a Win Win situation, you may not have the financial means to sustain if someone is to bring about litigation suits against you and there are a lot of people out there that are trigger happy when it comes to suing.

    Hi

Whether or not it is considered as such, certainly depends on the law of the country you are in. I wouldnt dare to do this in the USA.

I am the owner of the site shit websites.
    www.shitwebsites.net

I actually started it to have yet another site which links to my other projects. I have not done much with recently, it has been on the backburner so to speak.

You guys reminded me that I should attend that baby a little bit.

I suggest if you want to make money with a site like this forget about charging for removal. You are better of ti build traffic to the site and sell advertising space on the site and a regular newsletter.

"Removal fee" leaves a very bad taste in my opinion
