Can i Change Website Categories in Different Sub-domains in my existing Domain?

    I Have a website, which is one year old and i am working on it, i update my web weekly, in my website, i have mentioned different categories for example, Food, Health, and many many more, i want to make Sub domains of my this existing website, like Food.mywebsite.com. i want to know that this will effect my previous marketing of my website? and what to do in this regard?
    please inform me about your great ideas and tips.

    Yes it will affect the SERPs. Setting up sub-domains is like starting a new domain.
