I hadn't used the Google Adwords tool that tells how much monthly local and global searches there are on certain keywords, after just going onto it to use it again, I find it has been changed a bit, including how it looks. What im wanting to know is that, is there an option to change and use it the way it used to look and be?
Unfortunately, the keyword planner actually replaced the keyword tool and the keyword tool is no longer available. I actually prefer the keyword tool but I have found that Google tends to be pretty smart with this type of thing and I am confidant that once I get used to using the keyword planner it will turn out to be a more valuable tool than the previous keyword tool. The simple answer to your question is that there is no way to go back to using the keyword tool that I am aware of.
No happy about hearing that, lol. Do you know if there is a way to use the new one to find out similar listed information like the old one. How will I now be able to search for good keywords / phrases to target?
I have only recently started to use the new keyword planner. It seems to have all the same information it is just a matter of playing around with the different options. The 1 additional option that I find very helpful is the ability to be more specific in your targeting. Instead of just the "United States" it seems you can now get data at the state level as well. Also you can use the filter options to your benefit and you can still export all the data to a spreadsheet if you are more comfortable with that.
Yeah, after using it for a bit, im sure ill get the hang of things. Thanks for the info and hopefully I find this new one as good as the old version.
