I have just launched a new site (www.giddygamer.com) and am having trouble with the colour of the "Ads by Google" text, which doesn't appear to be configurable in the AdSense config tools. I'm seeking to blend that text with the rest of my pages (ignoring right "skyscraper" ad column for now) Any suggestions (other than continued pestering of Google)? (apoligies if this is a duplicate - i'm sure this was my first posting, but it has entirely disappeared since I returned from 3 weeks in the deep woods. Is there a DUNK TANK for insipid newbie questions?)
Ads by Google is meant to stand out so people .. well know it is ads by Google You can of course change background border etc, which in turn will affect the colour of this. But As far as i Know you can not specify the colour.
Thanks. As an old, bald Scottish guy, I'm interested in minimising that visibility - how "grey area" is that, ethically?
Google control it, so hey ho. Of course, you could always mess about with image backgrounds and absolute positioning, but it it really worth risking a ban? Far better you control the eys with movement and colour and some neat positioning of the ad.
Login to your adsense account. When setting up adsense add, you will see you can change the color of the text there, so that the code adsense gives you to place on your site will then blend. You can change background color, border color, title color, text color and url color.
