I also tried to change the dimensions of the banner ads to fit the sidebar and got no revenue from the clicks so,its better not to alter the code.

google is very strict... the moment you change the code the next day you will be BANNED. Don't ever try changing code....

It is against Google TOS if you change their code, so dont do it ..they might ban you for it

How long would they ban you for if you changed the code? and can you talk to them and change the edited parts back to get unbanned?
