One of the most populated pages on my site is:
    http://www.boredgames.co.uk/17whckboss.html
As it is ranked high for the keyword whack your boss.

However this is very low paying and I only get around $0.08 per click is there anyway I can change the niche and would placing more text on the page change it?

Also only some times google ads show up on the page can someone tell me why?

    Thanks
    :)

You could try adding more text on your page, make a paragraph about whatever niche you want and give it some time to change...

Try adding more content on top, but related to the page.

My webmaster friend have this problem before too and when one of my very own sites start that have the same problems, we thoroughly check what is it that is making this to happen. We tested a few thing and what we found out is that the contents on the homepage was minimal. when we added more contents then it always show the ads. So we conclude that, that was the problem why ads are showing erratically, I mean sometimes there are ads and sometime there is nothing.

    Thanks

is that okay if we have a website related to 'A' but we write contents about 'B' just to get some good high paying ads?

Adsense says the website should only discuss about the topic related to only the website.
For example, if my website is about money making tips, i cant discuss about how to become a teacher, teaching tips and so on. ( Just for an example )

Agree, try to remove ads first then only putting it back.
